Frequently Asked Questions

Do I actually need therapy?

If you’ve landed on this page, something might already be disturbing you. Still unsure? Ask yourself:

• Have I been feeling emotionally stuck for a while?

• Are things at work, home, or in relationships getting hard to manage?

• Am I looking for deeper clarity or healing?

• Have I stopped enjoying what I once loved?

• Do I want to grow into a better version of myself?

• If you said yes to any of these — therapy could be a helpful next step.

Can’t I just get over this with time or a break?

Sometimes, time and rest do help. But for deeper, long-standing emotional issues, a break may not be enough. Therapy helps you understand, process, and move through what’s been holding you back — in a structured, supported way.

Is therapy just about talking and venting?

Not really. While talking is a big part of therapy, it’s not just that. Your therapist listens, understands, and also uses scientifically proven techniques to help you navigate your challenges and make meaningful changes.

It feels expensive. Is it worth it?

We hear you — therapy is a commitment, both emotionally and financially. But mental health is foundational to everything in life. Just like we invest in education, health checkups, or fitness — therapy is an investment in your well-being.

We also try to offer options to suit different needs and budgets.

How do I choose the right therapist?

You can choose based on their qualifications, areas of expertise, and personality. Many therapists share their thoughts and approach on social media — that might help you feel connected.

Still confused? Just fill out the form — we’ll help you find the best match.

How do I book a session?

• Choose your preferred therapist

• Fill out the booking form

We’ll get back to you with confirmation and next steps.

Can I get a free trial session?

You may give a call for 5-7 minutes to clarify your doubts. We don’t offer trial sessions, as the first session itself is a space to explore your concerns in detail and begin your journey.

How soon should I book my slot?

We suggest booking at least 3–4 days in advance to get a time slot that works best for you.

How long is each session?

• Individual sessions: 45 to 55 minutes

• Couple/Family or assessment sessions may be longer

What happens in the first session?

You’ll get a chance to talk about what brings you to therapy. The therapist will understand your concerns, your personality, and what you hope to achieve. Together, you’ll lay the foundation for your therapy plan.

Will I feel better after just one session?

You might feel lighter after opening up — and that’s a great start. But deep healing takes time. Therapy is a journey, not a quick fix.

How many sessions will I need?

It varies for everyone. After your first couple of sessions, your therapist will give you a better idea based on your needs and goals. On average, people start noticing changes in a few sessions.

How often should I take sessions?

Usually, we recommend once a week in the beginning. You can always discuss what works best for you with your therapist in the first session.

What if I need to reschedule?

You’ll find our rescheduling and cancellation policy in the booking form. We request you to read it before booking.

Should I continue my medication during therapy?

Yes. If you’re already on medication, please do not stop it without speaking to your psychiatrist. Your therapist can work in collaboration with your doctor if needed.

Can I contact my therapist in an emergency?

You may reach out in case of an emergency, but we recommend discussing boundaries and communication preferences with your therapist during sessions to avoid any confusion.

Can I take therapy without informing anyone?

Absolutely. Therapy is confidential. However, we do ask for an emergency contact number while you fill the form — it’s a standard practice for your safety. This will only be used in critical situations.
